Floppy Jacket

A relaxed, floppy jacket in black silk with a raw edge pintuck texture and hand-dyed shibori circles. Narrow tucks with frayed edges run down the whole jacket, giving the silk a rippled, bark-like surface that catches the light. Across it, soft tan discs with fine radiating lines look like tree rings, and each one is slightly different. The open front, wide sleeves and large patch pockets keep the shape easy, and the asymmetric hem drapes into soft points at the sides and back. It layers over almost anything and has plenty of movement.
